Protect Your Family With The Right Estate Plan

Even in these hard economic times, it is important to protect yourself and your family with an estate plan. Proper estate planning deals with situations other than your death. For instance, during your lifetime, you have a 60% chance of becoming disabled. Your estate plan should provide for another person to be able to make medical decisions on your behalf in the event that you are unable to do so. Also, it should allow for someone else to be able to step in and take control of your finances while you are disabled. Finally, if you have children,it should designate how and by whom they will be cared for. By having an estate plan in place, you can save yourself and your family thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
